Gate 13 – Descent / First Darkness
Cup of Descent. The Cup as Void.
To sip at this Gate is to step into shadow, to trust the unseen currents that pull you inward. Here begins the Duat corridor, the first descent into mystery, where silence is deeper and vision stirs below the surface.
Mugwort opens the door of dreams, guiding the spirit beyond waking sight. Cacao roots the journey, grounding the body in earth’s strength. Together, they form a Cup that holds descent gently, balancing vision with the weight of presence.
This is the thirteenth sip, the Cup as void, the first step into the night’s embrace.
